Preventa safety switches are for controlling the safe opening and interlocking of guards and covers to installations. Protection of operators by stopping the machine when the actuator attached to the machine guard is withdrawn from the head of the switch. Preventa switches with metal housings are designed for heavy duty industrial machines with quick rundown time (key operated switches XCSA, XCSB, XCSC) or with slow rundown time (Key operated switches with solenoid XCSLF, XCSE). Preventa switches with plastic housings are designed for light industrial machines with quick rundown time (key operated switches XCSMP, XCSPA, XCSTA) or with slow rundown time (key operated switches with solenoid XCSLE, XCSTE). As far as safety is concerned all dangerous machines in all sectors are involved. Preventa safety switches can be used in packaging, handling, robotics, machine tools, presses, and automotive sectors.
